  • Eden Morecambe enters main construction programme

    Eden Project Morecambe is entering its main site construction phase. VINCI Building will start with the public garden before progressing the two principal visitor structures and connecting Metronome building ahead of the planned 2028 opening.

    East Renfrewshire is investing £9.1m across existing council housing stock. Nearly 1,500 homes are covered by roof, render, window, heating, kitchen, safety, access-control, and estate improvement works during 2026/27.

    HBC has completed Sheffield’s new child-health technology centre, The Spark. The 43,000 sq ft facility will house the National Centre for Child Health Technology and has now passed into commissioning and operational preparation.

    Bridgemont has submitted plans to retrofit One Embankment Place extensively. The Charing Cross scheme would retain around 90% of the structure and floorplate while replacing gas plant and targeting sharply lower operational energy demand.

    Steel erection is advancing at Aberdeen’s new Hazlehead Academy campus. Around 80 steel deliveries are planned as Robertson builds the 1,600-pupil replacement school beside the existing operational academy.


  • Peel opens consultation on 1.3m sq ft Haydock Point

    Peel has opened consultation on the proposed Haydock Point campus. The 1.3 million sq ft St Helens scheme combines manufacturing and employment space, highway changes, a multi-fuel HGV hub, landscaping, and supporting infrastructure.


  • Higgins appointed for 182-home Brentford regeneration

    Higgins will deliver 182 council homes through Brentford estate regeneration. The social-rent scheme will replace 92 existing homes, add larger family properties, commercial space, and more than 2,500 square metres of landscaped green space.


  • Multiplex confirmed for £300m City Road tower

    Multiplex will start main works at 99 City Road shortly. The £300m retrofit and extension will create a 36-storey tower providing 475,000 sq ft of commercial space, with practical completion targeted for 2030.


  • ECF selected for Portsmouth city centre regeneration

    ECF will lead Portsmouth’s next City Centre North development phase. The 13.25-hectare brownfield site could support up to 2,300 homes, workspace, leisure uses, and more than 240,000 sq ft of public space.
