WSP lands four-year DfE advisory framework role

WSP has secured a four-year DfE technical advisory role nationwide.

IN Brief:

  • WSP has been appointed to the Department for Education’s TAS 2025 framework for four years.
  • The scope includes project, cost and commercial management, technical reviews, surveys and construction quality monitoring.
  • The framework supports the DfE capital programme, including the wider CF25 pipeline.

WSP has secured a place on the Department for Education’s Technical Advisory Services 2025 framework, extending its role in the education capital programme for a further four years.

The appointment covers technical advisory support across the DfE estate pipeline, including project, cost and commercial management, design input for feasibility studies, detailed technical reviews, surveys, contract administration, health and safety, and construction quality monitoring. The framework continues WSP’s involvement following its position on the 2021 arrangement.

The advisory appointment sits alongside the DfE’s wider capital programme, including Construction Framework 25, which has a stated value of £15.4bn, and the department’s longer-term education estates renewal agenda. That keeps school and college works firmly in view for consultants, contractors and specialist supply chains already active in the public sector market.

With condition, capacity and refurbishment pressures still shaping the education pipeline, the framework points to continued demand for technical assurance and delivery support across new build and upgrade projects over the next four years.
