Terex launches TRAC screening diagnostics

Terex has launched TRAC for screening diagnostics and condition monitoring. The system is aimed at faster fault detection across vibratory equipment fleets.

IN Brief:

  • Terex has launched TRAC, a portable multi-sensor vibration analysis system for screening equipment.
  • The system measures motion, balance, resonance, and bearing condition to support commissioning and maintenance.
  • TRAC is being rolled out across the Terex Materials Processing screening brands.

Terex has launched TRAC, a portable vibration analysis system designed to give operators and distributors a clearer read on how screening equipment is actually behaving in service. The system uses synchronized multi-sensor measurements taken from several points on the screen box to assess motion, balance, resonance, and bearing condition before faults develop into production or structural problems.

That focus on condition rather than simple reaction is what makes the launch relevant. Screens sit at the heart of aggregates, recycling, and material-processing operations, and when they drift out of tolerance the damage is rarely confined to one component. TRAC is intended to support commissioning checks, troubleshooting, and ongoing lifecycle assessment, turning complex vibration data into something maintenance teams can use without losing time to guesswork.

Terex says the technology is now available across screening equipment within its materials-processing brands, including Powerscreen, Finlay, EvoQuip, MDS, Terex Washing Systems, Terex MPS, MAGNA, and Terex Ecotec. For operators feeding construction supply chains, the appeal is straightforward: more visibility into machine condition, earlier intervention on wear and imbalance, and a better chance of protecting uptime before a screening line starts taking the rest of the plant down with it.
