Federservizi adds Palazzani spiders and signals fleet shift

Federservizi is widening spider-lift capacity with two new Palazzani units.

IN Brief:

  • Federservizi has added Palazzani TZJ 180 and XTJ 32 spider lifts to its fleet.
  • The rental company says it intends to replace its wider spider fleet with Palazzani machines over time.
  • The units are being positioned for steep terrain, maintenance, landscaping and complex site work.

Federservizi has expanded its access fleet with two new Palazzani spider lifts, a move the Italian rental business says will form part of a broader transition towards a full Palazzani spider range.

The company has taken delivery of a TZJ 180 and an XTJ 32, adding further capability for work in steep and uneven operating conditions. Based in Trentino-Alto Adige, Federservizi is active in terrain where compact dimensions, slope tolerance and stabilisation performance carry more weight than they do on standard urban jobs.

The machines are being aimed at maintenance, pruning, landscaping and construction applications where conventional access equipment can struggle. Federservizi said the investment builds on a relationship with Palazzani that began more than a decade ago and will now be extended across the rest of its spider-lift fleet over time.

That points to continued demand for specialist tracked access machines in mountainous and constrained sites, where work-at-height requirements are combining with access restrictions and tougher ground conditions.
