E.ON backs Nottingham Women in Construction

E.ON backs Nottingham Women in Construction with headline sponsorship deal. The deal covers four events, speaking slots, and matched fundraising support up to £2,000.

IN Brief:

  • E.ON UK has taken headline sponsorship of Nottingham Women in Construction for 2026, covering all four events and matched fundraising up to £2,000.
  • The sponsorship links inclusion and skills activity with wider decarbonisation work already under way across Nottingham’s housing and energy infrastructure.
  • Nottingham Women in Construction, founded in 2003, continues to operate as a local network spanning construction, engineering, and related built-environment roles.

E.ON UK has been confirmed as headline sponsor of Nottingham Women in Construction for 2026, backing a city network that brings together women working across construction, engineering, and related sectors. The agreement covers all four NWIC networking events scheduled for the year.

As part of the partnership, E.ON will also provide speaking opportunities during the programme and match fund the group’s annual charitable fundraising up to £2,000. Nottingham Women in Construction said the arrangement will support its 2026 events while maintaining accessibility and directing ticket-linked donations to its chosen charity partner, Framework.

The sponsorship also sits alongside E.ON’s wider activity in Nottingham’s built environment and energy system. The company said it has installed solar panels on 600 social homes in the city, delivered more than 1,500 energy-saving measures across more than 400 homes since 2022, and supported projects including the solar-powered fan zone at Nottingham Forest FC.

Nottingham Women in Construction describes itself as a volunteer-led local network founded in 2003. Its programme brings together professionals from contracting, consulting, engineering, and supply chain roles, creating a regular forum around careers, skills, and industry representation within the city’s construction sector.

The 2026 sponsorship links workforce development and local decarbonisation activity within the same regional market. Event information is available from Nottingham Women in Construction.
