Caterpillar has unveiled the Cat 319 excavator and D8 XE. Shown at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, the 19–20 tonne compact-radius excavator targets transport-width jobs, while the D8-size dozer pairs a C15-driven generator with electric drive and assist tech, with availability planned for the second half of 2026.
SANY UK has appointed Crowland Cranes to distribute mobile cranes. Hitachi has launched its largest battery excavator for Europe market. The 13-tonne ZX135-7EB is designed for zero exhaust emissions and lower noise, with dual-mode operation using batteries or grid assist.
